Mor Leads New Architectural Division at Lightswitch

Lightswitch has announced the formation of a new division, Lightswitch Architectural, to be headed in Chicago by longtime design team member, Avraham (Avi) Mor. Mor has also become a full partner of Lightswitch.

"Avi has been an incredible asset from the moment he joined us five years ago," comments John Featherstone, a Lightswitch principal. "We are delighted to be able to recognize his importance in the current and future growth of the company. While we have been actively creating lighting environments for architectural projects, Lightswitch is known for innovation and creativity at events, exhibits and in the entertainment arena. Calling out the focus on architectural projects will further enhance the importance of lighting design to this important business segment."

Mor holds a BFA degree in architectural and theatrical Lighting design from the University of Kansas and has earned his LEED accreditation. He is actively involved in the Illuminating Engineering Society as president of the Chicago section, and is an associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), American Institute of Architects (AIA), and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
