Delta Dental was designing a new corporate office building and wanted a cost effective exterior lighting design to highlight and accent their new building.
What We Did
In order to achieve the design goal of emphasizing the building’s crisp, warm, modern lines, Lightswitch Architectural took the architect’s Revit 3D model and used our own lighting modeling software to investigate possible design solutions. With our renderings as a reference, collaboration with the rest of the design/build team was an accurate and efficient process.
After the design was agreed upon, Lightswitch Architectural specified the products, using primarily LED lamps to minimize maintenance of the relatively inaccessible fixtures. The shape and form of the architecture is defined and enhanced, while up lights on trees create soft, natural dappled patterns of light and shadow on the building. We also provided on-site support during installation and focusing.
