Atlantic Theater Company
Atlantic Theatre Company | Linda Gross Theater, 2011Lightswitch is proud to be consulting with the Atlantic Theater Company on their ongoing renovation of the historic Linda Gross Theater in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York.
The Linda Gross Theater is home to the 25 year old Atlantic Theater Company, and the renovation will transform this former church into a 21st century, state of the art performing arts facility. Improvements will include an expanded stage area, new seating, improved artist amenities and enhanced facilities for disabled guests and performers.
The Atlantic Theater Company is near and dear to the heart of Lightswitch Principal Howard Werner, who has worked with the company since its inception in 1985. Charles Foster is lead designer for Lightswitch on the project and collaborating with Werner, who said ‘We are delighted any time we can help bring a new preforming arts facility to a community. That I have shared such a long history with the Atlantic Theater Company makes this project especially rewarding.’
It is hoped the renovations will be completed before the end of the 2011 – 2012 season. For more information or to support this important and beloved cultural institution, please visit www.atlantictheater.org
